Grant proudly volunteered in the 2018 Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Campaign. The Salvation Army provides every day needs to 1.6 million people in Canada each year, with more than half of their donations being raised from mid-November to Christmas Eve.
It has been over 100 years since Captain Joseph McFee began the yearly tradition of the Christmas Kettle to raise funds as a way to provide meals for families. You can now find Bell Ringers in over 2,000 locations, including inside malls and outside retail stores, volunteering . The Salvation Army has grown to not only serve Christmas dinner to families in need, but to also to support families with food, counseling, shelter, clothing, and financial assistance year-round.
